Why PriceLuma

Product listings are noisy. PriceLuma filters them down to comparable offers and turns them into a clear picture of what people are asking.

  • A distribution, not a guess

See the median, the middle 50% of asking prices, and a histogram of every sampled offer instead of one cherry-picked number.

  • New and secondhand kept apart

Used, refurbished, and open-box offers never drag down the new price. Each condition gets its own range and chart.

  • The exact model you asked for

For a specific model, offers must name it. Cases, bundles, multipacks, and Pro or Max variants are left out unless you ask for them.

  • Your currency

Prices from different marketplaces are converted into the currency you use, so the numbers are easy to compare.

  • Honest about coverage

Every answer reports how many offers it sampled. When there are too few to be meaningful, PriceLuma says so.

  • No account, no ads

How it works

Three steps, all inside the chat you already use.

  1. 1

    Ask in ChatGPT

Name a product and, if you like, where you shop and which currency you use. ChatGPT picks up the exact model for you.

  2. 2

    PriceLuma samples offers

It collects current listings, keeps matching offers, drops ones marked unavailable, and converts prices into your currency.

  3. 3

    See the spread

ChatGPT explains the median and typical range for each condition and can draw a histogram on request.

Try asking

  • “What does a used iPhone 15 Pro 256GB usually sell for?”
  • “Show a price histogram for the DJI Mini 4 Pro in EUR.”
  • “Is $650 a good price for a new Steam Deck OLED 1TB?”
  • “Compare new and refurbished prices for a MacBook Air M3.”

Frequently asked questions

Where do the prices come from?

PriceLuma retrieves current public listings from online marketplaces when you ask, though listing prices can lag behind the seller’s latest price. It returns aggregate statistics only, not individual listings or sellers.

Are these the prices I will pay?

They are sampled asking prices. Shipping, taxes, stock, and your payment provider’s exchange rate can change the final cost, so treat them as a guide.

How accurate is model matching?

For a specific model, offers are kept only when their title or variant names it, and common accessories, bundles, and other variants are excluded. It checks listing text, so an occasional mislabelled listing can still slip through.

Which countries and currencies are supported?

Tell ChatGPT where you shop and which currency you want. Prices are converted to your currency when a daily reference rate is available, and coverage depends on the marketplaces available for that country.

Why does it sometimes show no histogram?

When fewer than five matching offers are found for a condition, PriceLuma skips the statistics rather than showing misleading numbers.
